Director of the Chamber — Director terms last for two years and the duties of each Director include:

  • Active participation in the programs, promotions and events sponsored or endorsed by the Chamber

  •  

  • Acting as a chairperson for at least one major event hosted by the Chamber

  •  

  • Consistent, positive support for and promotion of the Chamber and its activities, the businesses and community of Boonville as a whole — verbally and when appropriate in other formats

  •  

  • Help to recruit new Members, retain current Members, and service the needs of all Members

  •  

  • From time to time a director may be authorized to act as a representative of the Chamber at specific meetings or events, or in specific circumstances

  •  

  • Directors are expected to conduct themselves as positive examples in any public venue

  •  

  • No Director shall make any statement or present any opinion as attributed to the Chamber without specific, prior authorization from the Board of Directors
